Welcome! So Glad You're Here!

Hey there! We're glad to have you here on our family blog! I'm Brit and my husband is Anthony. We have 4 kids (Isabella -12, Emery - 10, Tristan - 8, and Faith - 5) and 3 pets (cats - Bella, Minnie and our dog, Naomh - pronounced "Neeve"). We currently reside on the East Coast in North Carolina. We've been here for almost 3 years now but prior to here we lived in Louisiana, our home state. Geaux LSU and Saints!! While we certainly miss our family back home and the amazing Louisiana Cajun food, North Carolina feels like home. As a family, we enjoy hiking and the best part about living here is hiking in the mountains to see waterfalls. Especially during fall foliage; it's breathtakingly beautiful! Our family loves adventures!

We're a Christian family who believes in God: The Father, Jesus, and Holy Spirit and that the Bible is the inspired word of God. It is the foundation for our lives, how we raise our family, and conduct business. As I've grown closer to the Lord through the years, He began to reveal to me that I didn't have to separate ministry and business and at the expense of our family. I am naturally an "all in" person. So, when I'm focused on something, everything else tends to get put to the wayside. However, the Lord has been teaching Anthony and I how we can minister in the marketplace through our business and products and grow with our family at the same time. Jesus is first and foremost in our family then our businesses. We're not perfect and definitely don't claim to be, but we pursue Jesus and are learning to be quick to obey when He speaks. On this blog, you will find all things on faith, family, and entrepreneurship. We endeavor to be authentic, real, and share what we've learned through the years as well as what God is currently doing in our lives. We want to empower people, families, through the prophetic in their faith, families, and businesses. Our hope and prayer are that whoever is led to our blog will feel right at home and be blessed, empowered, inspired, and feel the Father's love!

I've been a stay-at-home mom for 13 years now and have always been an entrepreneur at heart. Anthony has been a plumber for 18 years; the last of which he has been in management. We've been in business for ourselves too in some way or another the past 10 years. I'm the visionary and have new ideas all the time of what the Lord shows me, and Anthony is really great at helping bring them to life! He says he's just supportive and along for the ride LOL. I love trying new things and going on adventures and that honestly is what my relationship with the Lord is like: going on treasure hunts! I'm just grateful that God put me with someone who is very practical and grounded because I tend to stay in the clouds haha. What's great is our kids are a mix of us both and it's so fun!

Creative Glory: The Blog is just one part of our business. We also have Creative Glory: The Podcast and Creative Glory Gift Box (our shop). All under the umbrella of our company, Creative Glory Initiative, L.L.C. Our long-term vision is to be able to learn and grow in our faith, family, and entrepreneurship and be able to invest in start-up Christian businesses and ideas. To be able to help others in being apart of bringing to fulfillment the dreams and promises God gave them. We know we can't teach what we haven't done fully yet so if you're here reading this, you get a front row seat to watching us launch, learn, and grow on this journey and be able to empower, inspire, and help others along the way. We are choosing to be obedient to the call of God on our lives and getting out of our comfort zone. Fear has tried to hold us back (especially when I want things to be perfect before sharing with others) but we are choosing to step out in faith no matter how messy it may look.
